Rakesh Mijling has been involved in Open UP (the predecessor of RiseUP) since 2009 with Tantric Dance workshops. He grew increasingly within the organization with Crea Team, video, management position and promotional campaigns. With Conscious Events, Rakesh organizes various festivals, including RiseUP.

Marcel "Mizza" Hendriks has been involved in the UP community since 2015. His journey started in 2015 as a musician in the house band, in 2017 he became a music programmer, in 2021 he became a director of OpenUP and now he is already the overall project manager of RiseUP for the third consecutive year.
